"From experience, whenever I pick up a book, the first thing I do is head straight to the photo pages. This is where the idea came from for this project. I decided to put together a pictorial account of the history of "the lads" who followed my team, Portsmouth Football Club. I got out and about and over a period of eight months I met the main faces and collected over 1,200 photographs. The book is a photo journal of twenty five years of following "Pompey" home and away and England around the world. All the photographs used in the book are from private collections and have never been seen before."
